In this game the goal is to "cut" all the fruit. There are three different modes you can play this game in, ARCADE, ZEN, and CLASSIC. in different modes you have different obstacles in arcade mode you have a time limit of 1 minuet and every "bomb" you hit you loose 10 seconds, in classic mode if you hit a bomb game over and you can only "drop" up to 3 fruit (not cut the fruit), and in zen mode the only obstacle you have is a 1:30 time period to cut as many fruit as possible.
Connecting Fruit Ninja to the classroom
Thinking from a special educational stand point where students need a lot more assistance with hand-eye coordination when being able to manipulate and object, like a pencil to write their name, or using a fork to being able to feed themselves. This game can help improve those fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
Connecting Fruit Ninja to technology
This game is already connected through technology, it is both an app you can have on a touch screen smart phone, and tablet, as well as it can be used through gaming systems like X-box connect.
This connects to NETS in ways because it develops curious about the technology. it also adapts to the students needs, for the student who does not necessarily grasp the concept of the bombs, they can play in ZEN mode where they only have to experience a time limit without having to worry about their game being over for hitting a bomb.
